Our confidentiality commitment

Documents sent to translation bureaus inherently contain some of a person's most sensitive information: health status, criminal history, family relationships, financial circumstances and trade secrets. Protecting these documents is an integral part of the service we provide.

No document sent to us is used for any purpose beyond that required for the translation; it is not used as a sample text or published for promotional purposes. Documents are sent to relevant parties only where the procedure requires it, such as notarisation or courier dispatch at your request; otherwise, they are not shared with third parties.

Who can access documents?

A document is accessible only to people involved in carrying out that job:

  • The office employee handling the request
  • The sworn translator producing the translation
  • The second translator involved in the review stage
  • The relevant notary's office, if notarisation is required

Our employees and the translators we work with are subject to confidentiality obligations. For files containing trade secrets, a separate written confidentiality agreement can also be prepared at your request.

Document retention and deletion

Digital documents are stored in environments with restricted access. Physical documents are kept in the office until delivery and are handed over only to their owner or an authorised person.

Translation files are retained for two years from completion of the service to allow for possible corrections and repeat requests. At the end of this period, files are deleted without requiring a separate request. You may also request deletion before the period ends; copies that are not subject to a statutory retention obligation are deleted immediately upon your request.

For files containing special categories of data, such as medical and judicial documents, we recommend requesting deletion of digital copies after the service is completed.

Information collected through the website

When you complete the quotation form on our website, your name, telephone number, email address and description of your request are sent to us. This information is used solely to respond to your request.

For form submissions, the IP address and submission time are recorded to prevent automated and malicious submissions. These records are deleted after six months.

Our website does not create visitor profiles, does not contain advertising tracking code and does not share your data with advertising networks.

Third-party services

Our website uses only the following external services:

  • Google Maps — for the location map on the contact page. When the map loads, your browser connects to Google's servers and Google's own privacy policy applies.
  • Google Fonts — for typefaces.

Apart from these services, our website does not contain any third-party code that tracks your visit.

Payment information

Your credit card details are not collected through our website and are not stored by us. Payments are made at our office or by bank transfer/EFT.

Data security breach

If it is established that personal data have been obtained unlawfully by others, the affected individuals and the Personal Data Protection Board will be notified as soon as possible under Article 12 of the Law.
