French translation covers education, civil status and commercial documents translated from Turkish into French and vice versa. We establish the institution and purpose for which your application file will be submitted before assessing its scope.

If you are dealing with an institution requiring French in France, Belgium, Switzerland or Canada, share its translation, translator and certification requirements. Using the same language does not mean these institutions accept documents in the same way. Their current requirements are the basis for preparation, rather than a guarantee of acceptance.

Type of certification

The translation is certified with the sworn translator's stamp and signature. If the receiving institution requires notarisation, the translation is certified by the relevant notary office. Documents for use abroad may also require an apostille. Submitting or managing apostille and consular legalisation applications is outside the scope of our service; we provide information about preparing the translation.

Spelling of names: For documents to be submitted abroad, given names and surnames are written according to the Latin-script spelling in your passport. Sharing your passport's identity page is important to avoid later corrections.

Translation process

  1. Reviewing institution and document requirements

Send the destination country, receiving institution and type of procedure with the documents. Any specific translator qualification or certification requirement is assessed before preparation begins.

  2. Establishing terminology and consistency across the file

The use of fields of study, company names and personal details across the file is reviewed. You can share previous translations, sample documents or terminology references.

  3. Translation, comparison and delivery

Names, accented spellings, grades, amounts and stamp details are compared with the source. Notarisation and courier delivery are planned separately; apostille and consular legalisation applications are not managed.

French translation: points we check

  • Accented letters and original spellings of personal and institutional names matter in French. The source document and passport spelling are checked together; institutional names are not simplified arbitrarily.
  • Education, employment and commercial terminology may vary between French-speaking regions. Share any sample, glossary or previous translation supplied by the institution to support consistency across the file.
  • Transcript grades and credits are represented using their source values. Translation is not an assessment calculating equivalent grades or qualifications in another education system.

What determines the delivery time?

  • The number of documents, attachments to the education file and amount of text.
  • The institution's specific formatting or terminology requirements, source document legibility and table layout.
  • Notarisation and physical delivery requests; a delivery date is established after reviewing the file.

How is the price determined?

  • The amount of text, subject matter and specialist expertise needed for Turkish-to-French or French-to-Turkish translation.
  • The scope of tables, additional documents and existing certification endorsements.
  • Translation fees, notary fees and courier costs are explained as separate items.

Quality and review

  • Personal and institutional names, accents and identity details are checked against the source.
  • For academic documents, course names, grades, credits and dates are represented consistently throughout the file.
  • In financial or commercial texts, number formatting and the amounts themselves are checked separately; currencies and contractual clauses are preserved.

What to prepare for a quotation

  • Send all pages of the document, its stamps and any reverse side.
  • Share the receiving institution's current translation requirements.
  • Include passport spelling and any previous translation or terminology example provided by the institution.
  • Specify your application deadline, certification and copy requirements, and delivery format.

Frequently asked questions

Can a translation prepared for France also be used at an institution in Canada?

The institution's language, translator, certification and document-format requirements should be checked separately. Being in French does not guarantee that the same document will be accepted at every institution.

Are transcript grades converted in a French translation?

Grades and credits are represented as shown in the source document. Conversion to another system or academic assessment is handled by the relevant institution.

Are French institutional names reproduced exactly?

The original name in the source document and any official spelling reference supplied by the institution are reviewed together. Share any sample text from the institution or previous translation.

How is a notarised French translation planned?

Send the complete file and the institution's certification requirements. Translation fees, notary-stage requirements and any courier request are assessed separately before confirming the delivery plan.
