Technical translation covers user manuals, technical specifications, installation and maintenance instructions, and engineering documentation. Units of measurement, standard numbers and part codes are preserved as shown in the source document.
A glossary is prepared for long or repetitive documents so the same concept is translated consistently throughout. This consistency is maintained in subsequent revisions.
Scope
- User and maintenance manuals
- Technical specifications and standards
- Installation and commissioning instructions
- Quality and conformity documents
- Safety data sheets
- Patent and technical drawing descriptions
How is the type of certification determined? Sworn translation and notarised translation are separate procedures, and not every institution accepts both. Tell us which institution will receive your document and we will help clarify the certification it requires.
Frequently asked questions
Do you prepare a terminology glossary?
Yes. For ongoing work, we prepare a company-specific glossary and use the same equivalents in subsequent translations.
Can files containing drawings and diagrams be translated?
We work directly in files with an editable text layer. For scanned drawings, the text can be delivered as a separate list.
