Our team of sworn translators prepares your invoice translation for notarisation where the receiving institution requires it. We provide information about apostilles and consular legalisation; we do not submit or manage these applications.

Invoice translations are required for customs procedures, export files, warranty claims and accounting records. The distinction between a pro forma invoice and a commercial invoice determines the nature of the transaction.
Item descriptions, quantities, unit prices and totals are preserved in the translation; GTİP (customs tariff) codes and units of measurement are reproduced as they appear in the source document. No conversions are made to numerical data.
Which institutions request this document?
- Customs directorates — for import and export transactions
- Foreign buyers and sellers
- Insurance companies — in claims files
- Tax authorities
Certification requirements
Notarization may be required for customs and official procedures; a sworn translation is sufficient for commercial use.
Under Article 1 of the Hague Convention, administrative documents directly related to commercial or customs operations fall outside the scope of the apostille; an apostille is not issued directly for an invoice. If necessary, an indirect procedure is followed through a notarized translation.
There is no universal rule. The institution requesting the document determines its certification requirements. The information above describes common practice. Tell us which institution you are applying to and we will help clarify the required certification.
Preparing your document
- Send a copy in which all invoice items are legible
- Specify whether it is a pro forma invoice or a commercial invoice
- If there are many invoices, combine them in one file; bulk pricing applies
Frequently asked questions
I have many invoices; how is the price determined?
As invoices have similar structures, the unit rate decreases for bulk work. If you share the entire file, a single quote is prepared.
Are GTİP codes translated?
As the codes are international, they are preserved as they are; only the descriptions are translated.
